Key Responsibilities
- Support operational systems and work with IT and vendors on system enhancements, testing, and implementation.
- Prepare and analyse operational performance reports (e.g. agency KPIs, terminal performance) and work with teams to address gaps.
- Act as the main point of contact for operational reporting and dashboards (Tableau / Power BI).
- Design, review, and improve operational processes, including SOPs and process flows, to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Identify operational gaps and support automation and digitalisation initiatives.
- Develop clear, professional PowerPoint presentations for senior management.
- Support operational and efficiency-related projects across liner operations, ports & terminals, special cargo, and dangerous goods.
- Assist with ad-hoc operational projects as required.
- Degree in Maritime Studies, Business Analytics, IT, or a related field.
- 4-5 years experience in liner shipping operations, preferably with a shipping company or terminal operator.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and reporting skills.
- Comfortable working on systems, digitalisation, and process improvement projects.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and reporting tools (Tableau / Power BI preferred).
- Able to work independently and collaborate with multiple operational stakeholders.
