In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring timely and competitive responses to pricing requests while supporting the Manager of Pricing in developing effective pricing strategies to achieve contribution and market share targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and respond to quotation requests promptly in alignment with commercial objectives
- Support tariff setting and develop competitive pricing proposals
- Analyse market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor landscape to inform pricing decisions
- Contribute to achieving and maintaining targeted market share
- Support tactical pricing initiatives in response to evolving market conditions
- Manage non-standard quotation requests as required
- Handle day-to-day administrative matters related to pricing and market management
- 2-4 years of experience in freight pricing within shipping or logistics
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and Power BI for reporting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends and competitor strategies
- Strategic mindset with the ability to support pricing initiatives that drive market share
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly with regional stakeholders
- Adaptable and able to manage priorities effectively in dynamic market conditions
