Reporting to the Head of Operational Excellence & Transformation, this role will drive structured process improvement projects across key commercial, operational and corporate functions.
The Opportunity
This role is suited to a hands-on improvement specialist who can analyse current workflows, identify inefficiencies, design optimised processes, and support implementation to deliver measurable performance gains.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end process improvement initiatives across assigned business functions
- Map current-state processes and design scalable future-state solutions
- Analyse operational and commercial performance data to identify improvement opportunities
- Implement Lean and structured problem-solving methodologies
- Establish KPIs and performance tracking frameworks
- Support change management and stakeholder engagement throughout transformation initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement culture
Candidate Profile
We are seeking an analytical and commercially aware improvement professional with experience in either operational or commercial environments within shipping, logistics, or similarly complex industries.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Experience delivering business process improvement initiatives
- Exposure to either operational, commercial or corporate functions
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights
- A structured, methodical approach to problem-solving
Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt minimum; Black Belt advantageous)
- PMP certification desirable
- Degree qualified
