Our client is a globally renowned shipping company with a strong presence in the dry bulk space. As part of their continued growth, they’re seeking a Chartering Manager
to join their Singapore office.
The Role:
This is a hands-on commercial role focused on fixing cargo and tonnage
across a range of dry bulk segments. You’ll be working closely with clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders to manage the end-to-end chartering process – both spot and short-term fixtures.
While this isn’t a leadership role today, there is clear progression
over time for someone with the ambition to grow and take on more responsibility.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Fixing dry bulk vessels (cargo and tonnage)
- Managing chartering enquiries and negotiating fixture terms
- Liaising with brokers, owners, and clients globally
- Analysing market conditions and advising on strategy
What We’re Looking For:
- A few years of chartering experience (ideally dry bulk)
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- A proactive, collaborative approach
- Based in Singapore (or open to relocation)
