Angle Recruitment has been exclusively retained to support a global maritime services organisation in the appointment of a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) .
This is a senior executive leadership role with responsibility for shaping and delivering the company’s global commercial strategy.
The role is ideally based in Singapore , reflecting its position as a leading global maritime hub. Some flexibility exists for exceptional candidates based in other established maritime centres such as Hong Kong, Dubai or key European locations , provided they bring strong global connectivity and senior decision-making access.
The role
Reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the executive leadership team, the CCO will lead the global commercial agenda. This includes global revenue growth and key account strategy, while acting as a senior partner to shipowners and ship managers worldwide.
This is a highly visible, externally focused role requiring strong judgement, credibility and the ability to influence at C-suite and board level.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute the global commercial strategy aligned with the company’s long-term objectives
- Build, maintain and deepen senior-level relationships with shipowners, ship managers and key maritime stakeholders
- Identify and unlock growth opportunities across markets, services and customer segments
- Represent the business at senior client, partner and industry forums
Candidate profile
- Proven senior commercial leader within maritime services, shipping or an adjacent marine sector
- Strong, established decision-making network across shipowners and technical ship managers
- Highly credible with boards and executive leadership teams
- Strategic, commercially astute and comfortable making high-impact decisions
- International mindset with the ability to operate effectively across regions
Location
This is a global role . Singapore is a good option, though flexibility exists for candidates based in other leading maritime hubs, subject to global reach and senior stakeholder access.
