It presents an exceptional opportunity to steer the financial direction of the organisation. You are responsible in overseeing the full spectrum of finance and accounting duties, including accounting operations, statutory requirements, strategic planning, formulating and executing financial strategies and plans to optimise the company's overall financial performance. You will also drive and oversee capital raising, budgeting, forecasting, processes and reporting to ensure alignment with organisational goals and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall finance management of the company's financial operations globally.
- Develop and implement financial strategy of the company, planning, forecasting, reporting, capital raising, etc
- Oversee preparation and communication of financial statements and reporting of financial data.
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions.
Professional Background:
- Experience in a senior global strategic finance management position.
- An experienced maritime and shipping industry executive.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate with various internal and external stakeholders (auditors, tax advisors, bankers, legal, etc).
