This role plays a key part in delivering the company’s commercial strategy and financial objectives. The position involves building strong industry relationships, evaluating investments and partnerships, and providing market insight and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate, develop, and negotiate commercial opportunities aligned with the company’s strategic growth priorities
- Identify new customers, projects, and business opportunities across gas vessel and LNG markets
- Manage tender and pre-qualification processes, ensuring proposals and agreements meet safety and quality standards
- Work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams on market analysis, competitor monitoring, and strategic recommendations
- Balance strategic planning with hands-on commercial execution, from opportunity origination through negotiation, contracting, and delivery
- Prepare term sheets, charter parties, commercial agreements, and business presentations
- Support M&A, investment, or partnership initiatives that expand the company’s portfolio
- Leverage industry networks and market insight to translate strategy into tangible commercial outcomes
- Strong commercial experience within the gas vessel and/or LNG sectors
- Proven track record in originating and negotiating commercial contracts
- Commercially driven with strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to
- Degree in Business, Economics, Shipping, or a related discipline preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Fluent in English
- Willingness to travel as required
