Our client, a globally recognized offshore vessel owner, have exclusively partnered with Angle Recruitment in the search for a highly skilled and strategically minded Global Head of Dry Docking to oversee the global dry docking programme across their extensive fleet.
This is a high-impact leadership role where you will manage a global team and be the key driver of planning, budgeting, and execution of dry docking activities worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Annual Global Planning: Develop the dry docking schedule for the entire fleet across regions, aligning timelines and fiscal budgets.
- Leadership & Oversight: Lead and support a global team, ensuring alignment on project timelines, quality, budgets and compliance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct regular progress meetings with regional teams to report on project status, budgets, risks, and corrective actions.
- System Management: Ensure all dry docking data is accurately captured and maintained in internal systems, with real-time financial and technical tracking.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement standardized processes, cost controls, and post-project evaluations to improve future dry docking performance.
- Previous experience with dry docking or new builds with offshore vessels is essential.
- Technical Background: Naval Architect or sea-going engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of offshore support vessels and their operational demands.
- Direct experience dry docking in various regions worldwide; familiarity with how different yards operate would be held in high regard.
- Demonstrated success in leading technical teams and managing multiple concurrent projects would be preferred.
- Financial Acumen: Strong budgeting, cost tracking, and reporting skills.
- Organized and comfortable with administrative and reporting responsibilities in enterprise systems.
