Angle Recruitment is thrilled to exclusively collaborate with a distinguished Shipping Company to identify an experienced Head of Finance. This role, based in the vibrant city of Singapore, presents an exceptional opportunity to steer the financial direction of the organisation. You are responsible in overseeing the full spectrum of finance and accounting duties, including accounting operations, statutory requirements, strategic planning, formulating and executing financial strategies and plans to optimize the company's overall financial performance. You will also drive and oversee capital raising, budgeting, forecasting, processes and reporting to ensure alignment with organizational goals and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall finance management of the company's financial operations
- Develop and implement financial strategy of the company, planning, forecasting, reporting, capital raising, etc
- Oversee preparation and communication of financial statements and reporting of financial data.
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance regarding all financial functions.
- At least 5 years relevant experience in a senior finance management position
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or equivalent experience
- Experience within the maritime and shipping industry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to communicate with various internal and external stakeholders (auditors, tax advisors, bankers, legal, etc)
- Experience with shipping finance would be beneficial albeit not necessary
