Reporting into senior executive leadership, you will take a holistic, forward-looking view of the organisation, designing and implementing scalable, future-ready processes that support sustainable growth, efficiency, and customer excellence.
You will lead a team that are aligned to key functions, including operational and commercial departments.
This role goes beyond continuous improvement delivery — it requires a strategic thinker who can anticipate industry shifts, embed best-in-class methodologies, and drive meaningful organisational change across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company-wide Operational Excellence & Transformation strategy aligned with corporate objectives
- Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional team of process specialists
- Identify optimisation opportunities across operational and commercial workflows
- Design future-state processes to enhance efficiency, customer experience, scalability, and profitability
- Champion Lean methodologies and structured problem-solving frameworks across the organisation
- Drive change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new processes and ways of working
- Establish performance metrics, governance frameworks, and continuous improvement roadmaps
- Partner closely with executive stakeholders to align transformation initiatives with long-term business strategy
We are seeking a senior transformation leader with a strong track record of delivering measurable improvement within complex, operationally driven organisations.
The ideal candidate will bring :
- Significant experience in operational excellence, transformation, or enterprise performance leadership within shipping, logistics or maritime.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional improvement teams
- Demonstrated success in designing and implementing enterprise-level process change
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance operational efficiency and customer outcomes
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leadership
- Lean Six Sigma – essential
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification – highly desirable
- Degree qualified; advanced qualifications are advantageous
