Angle Recruitment is partnering with a reputable international shipping company to appoint a Charterer specialising in the LPG market. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly regarded organisation at the centre of a dynamic, fast-moving sector.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage chartering activities for LPG vessels, including negotiating and finalising spot and time charter fixtures.
- Monitor market movements, freight rates, and cargo opportunities to optimise vessel employment and commercial performance.
- Maintain strong relationships with shipowners, brokers, and cargo partners to identify and secure new business opportunities.
The ideal candidate:
- 3 to 5 years of LPG chartering experience, ideally from a shipowner, broker, or cargo owner environment.
- Sound commercial understanding and market insight within the LPG segment.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Confident managing the full fixture process from negotiation to post-fixture execution.
