Our client is a global organisation providing innovative financial technology solutions that support the welfare and financial wellbeing of individuals working in the maritime industry.  With an international customer base and ambitious growth targets, they are seeking a Key Account Manager to join their dynamic team.
 
About the Role
The Key Account Manager will play a critical role in building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring seamless service delivery, and driving commercial growth. This position will involve managing key customer accounts, supporting the implementation of financial solutions, and identifying opportunities to enhance client services.
 
Key Responsibilities :
Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key customers, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Understand client needs, delivering tailored solutions to enhance their financial processes.
  • Provide ongoing support and regular business reviews, presenting performance updates and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure customer expectations are consistently met.
 
Revenue Growth & Business Development
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across existing accounts, generating additional revenue streams.
  • Contribute to the sales process by supporting commercial strategies and new business enquiries.
  • Engage in market research to identify emerging opportunities and provide insights on customer needs.
 
Onboarding & Implementation
  • Manage the implementation process for new customers, coordinating with internal departments to deliver a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met, with clear performance KPIs.
  • Support clients through system adoption, offering guidance and troubleshooting as required.
 
Skills & Experience Required :
  • Proven experience in account management and client relationship management.
  • Experience in fintech is required, with experience in payment solutions being highly advantageous.
  • Commercially minded with a track record of identifying and delivering revenue growth opportunities.
  • Project management experience and familiarity with e-wallet or payment platforms (desirable).
