The role is responsible for driving pricing strategy, overseeing pricing governance, and supporting commercial performance across the business. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and drive overall pricing strategy to achieve revenue, contribution, and market share objectives
- Lead tariff setting, pricing governance, and strategic pricing initiatives across trade lanes and customer segments
- Conduct in-depth market, competitor, and profitability analysis to inform commercial decision-making
- Oversee complex and non-standard pricing proposals, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives
- Drive system enhancements and integration initiatives related to pricing tools, data platforms, and reporting systems
- Lead pricing transformation projects, including process optimisation and digitalisation efforts
- Provide leadership and guidance to the pricing team, fostering analytical rigour and commercial discipline
- Manage cross-functional stakeholder engagement across commercial, operations, finance, and regional teams
- Solid experience in pricing within the shipping and logistics industry
- Strong analytical capabilities, with advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with BI/reporting tools
- Proven experience in system integration, pricing platforms, or digital transformation initiatives
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including team management and change management
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across regional and senior leadership levels
