Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee vessel operations and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
- Plan and manage ISM, ISPS, MLC, and vetting inspections.
- Review and approve passage plans, and conduct navigation audits.
- Ensure vessels meet requirements from terminals, oil majors, and charterers.
- Liaise with Flag and Port State authorities.
- Keep Q88 and HVPQ data updated.
- Stay current with regulatory and industry changes.
- Support and train crew to maintain high performance and discipline.
- Participate in the company’s emergency response team.
- Master Mariner (CoC Class 1/2) or at least 2 years of relevant shore experience with product/chemical tankers.
- Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proactive, professional, and team-oriented.
