Angle Recruitment has been exclusively appointed to search for a Naval Architect
to join our client’s new build and project team, overseeing multiple vessel construction projects from tender evaluation and plan approval through to construction, commissioning, and sea trials.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in technical and commercial evaluations during the tender phase, including yard selection and contract review.
- Coordinate plan approval activities, liaising with design houses, classification societies, and internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the day-to-day management of yard construction progress, ensuring compliance with specifications, class rules, and build schedules.
- Track project timelines, budgets, variations, and technical queries.
- Prepare documentation and contribute to internal reporting on build status and risk areas.
- Work closely with the wider technical and operations teams to ensure vessels are built fit-for-purpose and delivered on time.
- Degree-qualified in Naval Architecture.
- Experience in vessel newbuild projects.
- Understanding of vessel design, construction processes, class requirements, and project coordination.
- Willingness to travel to yard locations as required.
