Angle Recruitment are partnering with a growing and highly respected shipyard
to find an experienced Project Manager (Repairs)
to join their team.
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of complex repair projects from start to finish, working closely with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced maritime environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Oversee all aspects of assigned ship repair projects, ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality.
- Interpret and work from technical specifications, drawings, and contracts.
- Coordinate with trade managers, subcontractors, vendors, and classification societies to keep projects on track.
- Lead regular progress meetings, identifying and resolving any technical or operational challenges.
- Monitor budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to maintain efficiency.
- Promote a safe working environment across all activities.
- Provide leadership coverage in the absence of senior management.
- Minimum 5 years’ project management experience in ship repair, shipbuilding, or related marine engineering fields.
- Diploma or degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing projects in the cruise or superyacht segments will be held in high regard.
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia or Malay is advantageous).
- Proficiency in MS Office, project management tools, and ideally AutoCAD.
- Solid understanding of marine technical terminology and processes.
