Are you an experienced procurement professional with a passion for the maritime industry? We're looking for a Purchasing Lead
to take ownership of purchasing activities for the company's dry docking programme, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services across their fleet.
In this role you'll:
- Manage and execute daily purchasing processes to support smooth and timely dry docking projects.
- Take ownership of the dry-docking category, ensuring all dry-dock procurement is planned, sourced and delivered efficiently to support refits and maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and vessels to source and supply goods and services.
- Handle urgent and exceptional purchases while ensuring cost effectiveness and quality.
- Maintain vendor relationships, monitor performance and drive improvements.
- Oversee documentation, compliance and procurement policy adherence.
- Diploma or higher in a relevant field with 3-5 years' purchasing experience.
- Background in marine or shipping procurement, including dry-dock or newbuild purchasing, strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with procurement or ERP systems (AMOS, SAP, or similar) is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
