Key Responsibilities
- Establish, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) across shipbuilding and repair operations
- Lead the Quality Control team to inspect and ensure work quality in key areas such as welding, fabrication, and coatings, in line with drawings and specifications
- Ensure vessels comply with Classification Society requirements and international maritime regulations
- Manage audits, inspections, and the resolution of quality issues
- Identify gaps between project requirements and current practices during the tender stage
- Develop and implement plans to manage quality risks throughout project execution
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Quality Manager in a shipyard environment
- Experience with newbuilding projects
- Proficient in English (Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage)
- Proficient in MS Office
- Willing to be based in Batam, Indonesia
