An established international shipping line is seeking a Regional Equipment Manager to join their team in Singapore. This role will play a key part in managing and optimising container logistics activities, ensuring the smooth movement of equipment and driving cost-efficient operations.

The Role
As Regional Equipment Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end container logistics and inland transportation functions for your assigned region. Working closely with agencies, vendors, and trade teams, your mission will be to ensure tight equipment turnaround, cost control, and operational efficiency across ports and inland networks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading strategic container logistics planning to optimise equipment flows and minimise repositioning costs.
- Overseeing inland and coastal repositioning activities to ensure consistent container supply.
- Managing relationships with local agents, terminals, depots, hauliers and leasing companies.
- Monitoring container stock, forecasting equipment needs, and resolving surpluses or deficits.
- Supporting cost management processes, including vendor payments and logistics system improvements.
- Contributing to logistics projects and initiatives across the wider regional network.
- Ensuring high standards of safety, compliance, and data integrity in logistics operations.
About You
You are a seasoned logistics or operations professional within the container shipping or liner industry, with a solid understanding of equipment flow management, inland logistics, and vendor coordination.

- Experience in container operations within a ship owner.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to plan strategically while remaining hands-on in execution.
- Experience managing vendors, agencies, or depots.
