to head up their sales department and take ownership of a key product line.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the go-to-market and sales strategy for a cutting-edge maritime SaaS product line.
- Drive new business opportunities - identifying prospects, building relationships, and closing deals.
- Build and shape the internal sales operations function, putting in place the processes, tools, and best practices for scaling.
- Partner closely with product teams, sharing client feedback and market insights to influence product development.
- Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, positioning the company as a trusted partner in maritime digitalisation.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven track record of success in maritime software sales, and a strong network across ship owners.
- A strong hunter profile - comfortable developing new business from scratch and hitting revenue targets.
- Experience setting up or scaling sales operations, ideally in a start-up or growth-stage company, would be held in high regard.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Commercially sharp and customer-focused, with the ability to translate client pain points into product opportunities.
