Technical Pre- Sales Manager (Maritime)
A leading global player in the maritime industry is seeking an experienced Technical Pre-Sales Manager
to drive commercial growth, support pre-sales efforts, and enhance client engagement across Greater China.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support business development across various ship types and key maritime stakeholders.
- Provide market intelligence, especially in the newbuilding sector, to guide strategic planning.
- Collaborate with global teams to implement regional commercial strategies.
- Advise clients on regulatory compliance (IMO, EU, international standards).
- Monitor developments in alternative fuels and maritime technologies.
- Prepare technical presentations, value propositions, and promotional content.
- Strengthen client partnerships with account managers and support pre-sales activities.
- Liaise with internal teams on product innovation and rule development.
- Experience in a classification society or shipowner’s newbuilding team preferred.
- Degree in Naval Architecture highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of ship types, maritime regulations, and technical trends.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
