Key Responsibilities
- Provide full technical management for assigned gas vessels, ensuring compliance with company standards, class, flag, and international regulations
- Oversee maintenance, repairs, dry-docking, and inspections, including budgeting and cost control
- Monitor vessel performance, machinery reliability, and defect rectification
- Ensure effective implementation of planned maintenance systems (PMS)
- Support HSQE compliance and incident investigation where required
- Attend vessels, shipyards, and audits as necessary
- Chief Engineer (Unlimited) sailing experience on gas carriers
- Shore-based experience as a Technical Superintendent managing gas vessels
- Strong knowledge of gas ship systems, cargo handling, and safety requirements
- Good commercial awareness with experience in budgeting and cost control
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working in a multinational environment
