Jason Nangle

Originally from the UK and now based in Singapore, Jason has spent over a decade specialising in maritime recruitment and executive search. Prior to founding Angle Recruitment in 2023, he spent 13 years with a prominent global maritime recruitment firm, where he rose from Consultant to Managing Director for the Asia-Pacific region. 

Jason has led numerous senior-level searches across the global maritime industry, including C-suite executives, Board Directors, Non-Executive Directors, and regional and divisional leadership roles. His expertise lies in helping companies operating in talent-short markets secure the specialist people they need to grow and compete internationally.

Before entering recruitment, Jason worked at sea on cruise ships and spent several years in aviation, giving him a unique perspective on the industries he now serves.

Recognised as a thought leader within maritime talent, Jason is regularly invited to speak and moderate discussions at industry events, sharing insights on workforce trends and the future of talent in shipping and offshore energy.

Outside of work, Jason enjoys travelling to remote parts of the world, experiencing new cultures, and spending time in the water through snorkelling, scuba diving, free diving and sailing.
