Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full transaction lifecycle from contract review through to shipment execution and final documentation.
- Ensure all cargo movements and shipping activities comply with contractual terms, including charter party agreements.
- Coordinate closely with surveyors, agents, and terminals to ensure smooth cargo operations while minimizing risks and demurrage.
- Monitor inventory levels and storage arrangements, optimizing tank utilization and terminal performance.
- Handle cargo discrepancies, claims, and disputes, ensuring timely investigation and resolution.
- Work alongside internal teams (Trading, Legal, Compliance, Finance) to ensure accurate and timely deal execution.
- Ensure proper documentation and trade finance requirements (including LCs) are fulfilled in line with compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate operational records and support continuous process improvements, including adherence to internal SOPs and policies.
- Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in oil, petrochemical, or energy trading operations.
- Familiar with Letters of Credit and shipping documentation processes.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
