You will be responsible for supporting the business on compliance and regulatory matters, with a strong focus on sanctions and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day compliance matters, with a key focus on sanctions compliance.
- Review and monitor sanctions-related risks involving customers, business partners and transactions.
- Keep up to date with international sanctions and regulatory developments.
- Provide practical compliance advice to internal stakeholders.
- Support due diligence and compliance reviews for higher-risk business activities.
- Review and improve internal compliance policies and processes.
- Assist with compliance investigations and risk assessments when required.
- Support compliance training and awareness across the business.
- Work with different teams on regional compliance projects and initiatives.
- Degree in Law, Compliance, Business or a related field.
- Ideally more than 5 years of relevant compliance experience.
- Strong experience in sanctions compliance is preferred.
- Experience in shipping, maritime, logistics or a related industry would be advantageous.
- Good understanding of international sanctions and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, regional environment.
