Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end physical distillates and fuel oil cargo operations , from nominations and scheduling through loading, discharge and close-out.
- Coordinate with traders, charterers, counterparties, terminals, shipowners, agents and surveyors to ensure smooth cargo execution.
- Monitor vessel movements, cargo schedules and operational risks, resolving delays and issues proactively.
- Handle cargo documentation, invoicing, reconciliation, laytime/demurrage and claims.
- Support inventory, storage and blending activities where applicable.
- Work closely with traders and chartering teams to optimise logistics and commercial outcomes.
- Ensure operations comply with HSSE, sanctions, regulatory and internal risk requirements.
- 4-10 years' experience in physical oil/trading operations, preferably distillates and/or fuel oil.
- Hands-on experience in cargo operations, nominations, scheduling and contract execution.
- Good knowledge of diesel/gasoil, jet fuel, VLSFO/HSFO or other refined products.
- Understanding of shipping, terminals, charterparty terms and laytime/demurrage.
- Strong commercial awareness, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
