Angle Recruitment has partnered with a major international shipowner to appoint its Global Head of Crewing. The group runs a mixed merchant fleet of vessels and is raising the bar on crew quality, vetting and commercial focus.
The role is based in London, with the fleet crewed through owned and third party manning offices.
In short, your job is to set the crew strategy for the fleet and see it delivered on every ship.
- Lead crew strategy, planning and budgets for the fleet
- Build the crew pool and succession planning for the top four ranks
- Keep manning in line with charterer, RightShip, DBMS and flag requirements
- Drive performance management with Masters, Chief Engineers and the manning offices
- Lead a team of crew operators and coordinators
