Angle Recruitment has partnered with a major international shipowner to appoint its Head of Marine and Vetting. The group operates a mixed merchant fleet of vessels, including wet and dry tonnage.
The role is based in London and leads a dedicated marine team working remotely.
In short, your job is to keep the fleet safe, compliant and approved by the majors and charterers.
- Lead marine operations across navigation, cargo and incident management
- Own vetting performance and oil major approvals across the tanker fleet
- Lead and develop a remote marine team
- Take on DPA responsibilities or a similar function
- Build strong relationships with charterers, terminals and the majors
