Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of claims from notification through to settlement.
- Investigate and assess claims, liaising with clients and key stakeholders throughout the process.
- Work closely with insurers, brokers, surveyors, legal counsel, and other external parties.
- Negotiate settlements and prepare claims reports and recommendations.
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Experience in claims handling within marine, insurance, loss adjusting, or a related claims environment.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously.
- Candidates from marine claims are highly preferred; however, those with experience in motor, property, or general insurance claims who are looking to transition into the marine sector are also encouraged to apply.
