Angle Recruitment has partnered with a reputable shipping company with a modern fleet across gas carriers and offshore. Its newbuilding programme is under way, and this hire leads the LNG side of it.
The role is based in Singapore, with regular time on site at the shipyard.
In short, your job is to get the vessels delivered on time, on budget and to spec.
- Run LNG carrier newbuilding projects from design and construction through commissioning, sea trials and delivery
- Represent the company with the yard, class, designers and makers, keeping a firm grip on quality, schedule and cost
- Review specifications, drawings and systems, from cargo containment and handling to propulsion and automation
- Manage inspections, FATs, modifications and defects, and lead the site team
- Report progress and risk, and keep everything compliant with the IGC Code, IMO, class and flag
