Responsibilities
- New-build electrical design and engineering against client, IMO, and flag-state requirements
- Review vendor and designer specifications and drawings for compliance with owner and classification society standards
- Liaise with shipyards, Class, vendors, and construction teams on engineering and design issues
- Compare tender vessel requirements against existing or new-building specifications
- Support electrical, automation, and digitalization systems through design and construction
- Degree in Engineering or a related field
- At least 5 years’ relevant experience, ideally with a shipyard, designer, or classification society
- Background in marine electrical systems, automation, and digitalization
