Our client is seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager to expand their presence within the marine, shipbuilding, and offshore sectors across China and selected regional markets. This role will focus on developing new business opportunities with shipyards, shipowners, EPC contractors, and marine industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the marine, shipbuilding, offshore, and related industrial sectors.
  • Promote and recommend integrated marine systems, equipment, and technical solutions that support vessel performance, safety, and operational efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with shipyards, shipowners, design institutes, classification societies, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Develop sales pipelines, manage opportunities, and provide accurate sales forecasts and market intelligence.
  • Prepare and execute sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives and revenue targets.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, proposal, and project teams to deliver competitive technical and commercial solutions.
  • Lead customer presentations, technical discussions, and commercial negotiations.
  • Ensure smooth project handover and support customers throughout the sales and delivery lifecycle.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Electrical or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of sales or business development experience within the marine, shipbuilding, offshore, or maritime equipment sectors.
  • Established network with Chinese shipyards, shipowners, marine contractors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business opportunities.
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel within China and internationally when required.
