Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to grow sales of marine systems, equipment, and integrated solutions.
- Identify and pursue opportunities with shipowners, offshore operators, marine service providers, shipyards, and government-linked organisations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers throughout Malaysia and the region.
- Manage the sales pipeline, analyse market trends, and provide accurate sales forecasts.
- Work closely with internal engineering and proposal teams to develop customised technical and commercial solutions.
- Deliver presentations, conduct customer meetings, and lead commercial negotiations.
- Ensure customer requirements are understood and effectively translated into project deliverables.
- Support project execution by coordinating closely with technical and operational teams.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking activities.
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Maritime Studies, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5-8 years of sales, business development, or account management experience within the marine, offshore, shipping, or energy sectors.
- Strong network with shipowners, offshore operators, marine contractors, and regional maritime stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial awareness.
- Regional travel will be required.
