You’ll originate and develop relationships with cargo owners and charterers, long-term time charters, this will be your predominant focus. Grow a stable cargo base that supports geared and gearless fleet. Alongside the longer-term development work, you’ll also run profitable day-to-day chartering, matching cargoes and vessels, negotiating fixtures, and taking controlled positions on third-party tonnage within approved limits.
This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Head of Drybulk. You’ll work closely with Operations, Finance, Risk and Post Fixture internally, and with shipowners, charterers, brokers and agents externally. Success will be measured by the pipeline of strategic accounts and long-term opportunities you build, the COAs and long-term contracts you convert, and the commercial returns you deliver. Those who perform will have the opportunity to step into broader leadership responsibilities as the platform grows.
