Role Overview
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Systems Engineer will be responsible for engineering design, technical configuration, and documentation of various telecommunication, safety & security, and navigation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full engineering design process, from understanding client requirements to proposing optimal technical solutions
- Develop high-quality engineering documentation (including VDRL)
- Prepare initial drawings and provide clear guidance to AutoCAD drafters for producing professional engineering deliverables
- Apply industry standards and best practices in design, drawing preparation, review, and submission
- Guide technicians on equipment assembly, cabinet integration, system configuration, simulation, testing, and verification
- Diploma in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related technical discipline
- Minimum 4 years' relevant experience
- Strong documentation and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Results-oriented, resourceful, and able to work under time pressure
- Proficiency with coverage tools such as CadnaA (PAGA), Ekahau (WiFi), and iBwave (UHF/GSM) is an advantage
