Angle Recruitment has partnered with a bunker tanker operator in Singapore, the world's busiest bunkering port, to appoint a Technical Superintendent for its fleet. This is an urgent hire and the client is moving quickly.
In short, your job is to keep the vessels running, the inspectors satisfied and the downtime to a minimum.
- Take technical responsibility for an assigned group of bunker tankers
- Plan and oversee maintenance, repairs and drydockings
- Make sure the fleet meets class, flag, MPA and vetting requirements
- Manage vessel budgets and work with suppliers and shipyards to keep costs in check
- Support the crews on board and respond quickly when issues arise
