Angle Recruitment has partnered with an established shipowner to appoint a Technical Superintendent for its LNG fleet. The role is based in Singapore, with travel to vessels, yards and vendors as the fleet requires.
In short, your job is to keep the ships in class, on hire and on budget.
- Take full technical responsibility for an assigned group of LNG carriers
- Plan and lead drydockings, repairs and major overhauls, from specification to redelivery
- Manage vessel budgets and OPEX, and keep a firm grip on spend
- Make sure the fleet meets class, flag, vetting and terminal requirements
- Support the senior officers on board and be their first call when something goes wrong
